Over the summer, we picked up this cute little table.

As usual, we forgot to take a before photo so, this is a “kind of before” photo. We’ve already sanded the top and added a provincial stain.

I love vintage pieces with lots of detail, the way the veneer grain is positioned on the top of this one is gorgeous!

But, what is really fantastic about this piece is the glass tray that fits seamlessly on top. This is called a butler’s tray
As you can see, we don’t have a butler around here so you’ll have to ignore the mess. If we did, he’d look like this…..
Or better yet, like this…….
We’ll be painting the base of the table and tray California Gold….
No, not this kind…..
It’s the name of the paint we’ll be using. Check back and see how it turns out! Happy Monday
